Nain exploration area is one of the areas of interest of Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Company for the exploration of metal deposits, including copper. Due to their low grade and high tonnage, copper deposits have gained attention in recent decades, and their exploration methods have improved as well. In this study, due to the importance and effective application of different geophysical methods in searching for different deposits and studying the formation of mineral deposits, these methods were used in the east of Nain range. First, the magnetometric data were processed and then their 3D inverse modeling was done. The results show a mass with low magnetic self-reactivity in the center of the model and at a relatively high depth, which corresponds to gabbroic intrusive masses at the surface. This mass is surrounded by another mass with high resistivity (more than SI 0.168) which has a ring structure. Next, the specific resistance and induced polarization data were inverted along a taken profile. By preparing sections of existing data models and comparing them with the geological information of the region, the presence of a lenticular metal mineralization body was shown. Also, there has been an increase in the copper grade around the intrusive gabbro masses, which has been associated with an increase in the magnetic susceptibility in this area. This indicates the effect of hydrothermal fluids with the origin of gabbroic intrusive mass on the alteration of peridotites and the increase of magnetic susceptibility.
